Finished Project Overview

I was a counselor for Camp Kesem in the summer of 2018. During that summer, I was  working as a counselor directly with a group of kids. This camp was a volunteer opportunity as well as a leadership opportunity. I applied to not only be a counselor but also a unit coordinator for the camp, which meant that I was over multiple age groups which provided an even bigger leadership opportunity. There was a lot of work that lead up to camp. As a counselor, it was required to fundraise a minimum of 500$ in order to send a child to camp cost-free. As a counselor, it was expected to help with extra fundraising events and other community involvement. Counselors were also required to go through extensive training in order to attend camp.
